Logging in to the Server

The Globalyzer Server manages individual and group accounts, user profiles, license information, and most importantly, Rule Sets.

The next few lessons of this tutorial are concerned with creating and editing Rule Sets. Before logging in to the server, you must obtain the following information from your account manager:

  • URL to the Globalyzer Server
  • Username (an email address)
  • Password

Once you have this information, you can log in to the server to create and edit your Rule Sets.

  1. Using a browser, go to the Globalyzer Server specified by the URL you received from your Globalyzer administrator. This will usually be https://www.globalyzer.com/gzserver unless your organization has a Globalyzer Enterprise License (in which case, enter the URL provided by your Globalyzer Administrator).

  2. Enter your username and password in the fields provided. If you forget your password, click the Forgot your password? link. Provided you have a valid email as your username, the server will email you a link to reset your password.

  3. Click Login.

If the login is successful, you are forwarded to your Home Page. From the Home Page, you can create and edit Rule Sets, edit your user profile and view and copy all of the Rule Sets currently defined by members of your team. If you are a Globalyzer Manager, then you can also create and edit users and teams as defined by your Globalyzer License.
