Report False Positive Scan Results

After scanning code, there are typically some Active Scan Results that do not contain valid issues. For instance, you may notice that the scan detected embedded strings that do not represent display text (end-users will never see them).

While you will need to address these false positives in your scan (via refining the Rule Set, inserting comments telling Globalyzer to ignore lines and sections of code, or by changing the row's Status in the Scan Results table to something other than Active), you may also send these false positives to Lingoport to help us refine our default Rule Sets.

To send false positive Scan Results to Lingoport, select them, right click in the Scan Results table, and select Report as False Positive. An email will be sent to Lingoport (and to you). Note that only 20 issues can be sent at a time. If more than 20 are selected, then the first 20 will be included in the email.
