ANSI Command Line Argument Function

error_t argz_create(char *const argv[], char **argz, size_t *argz_len);

Internationalization (I18n) Function Overview

The argz_create function converts the Unix-style argument vector argv (a vector of pointers to normal C strings, terminated by (char *)0) into an argz vector with the same elements, which is returned in argz and argz_len.

For more specifics on the argz and envz family of functions, see Argz and Envz vectors in the GNU manual.

I18n Issues

There is no ANSI wide character version of this function. The parameters will have to be converted to multibyte UTF-8 characters and then the argz_create function can be used.

Recommended Replacements*

*If you're already using the recommended function, see I18n Issues for other reasons why Globalyzer is detecting the function.
