Logging In to the Server

The Globalyzer server manages individual and group accounts, user profiles, license information, and, most importantly, Rule Sets.

The next few lessons of this tutorial are concerned with creating and editing Rule Sets. Before logging in to the server, you must obtain the following information from your account manager:

• URL to the Globalyzer server
• Username
• Password

Once you have this information, you can log in to the server to create and edit your Rule Sets.

1. Using a browser, go to the Globalyzer server specified by the URL you received from your Globalyzer adminstrator.

2. Enter your username and password in the fields provided. If you forget your password, click the Forgot Password link. Provided you have a valid username, the server will e-mail your password to you.

3. Click Login.

If the login is successful, you are forwarded to your Home Page. From the Home Page, you can create and edit Rule Sets, edit your user profile, and view all of the Rule Sets currently defined by members of your account group.
