File Inspector...
Run the File Inspector to get an inventory of all your source code files and their
programming languages in a well-formatted Excel file. This will help you determine
which Globalyzer Rule Sets you'll need to create and use to scan your source code for
internationalization issues.
PseudoJudo...
PseudoJudo allows you to add non-English characters to your
externalized strings, called pseudo-localization. Once you rebuild
your application with a pseudo-localized resource file, you will
have a significant aid in testing your internationalized application:
- You can ensure that there is no character corruption in displaying non-English characters
- You can test that lengthening strings does not affect the layout
- You can find "missed" strings - these will be the strings that are not pseudo-localized
- You can find string concatenations - these will be sequential strings that are pseudo-localized
- You can still easily navigate the application because the English is unchanged, since
non-English character are only prepended and/or appended to the original strings
Generate Reports...
Generate reports at Project and Scan levels in a variety of formats: Excel, CSV, XML, TXT and HTML.
In addition, you can save your report settings to use when you want to run the same report multiple
times.
View Rule Sets...
Select this menu item to quickly navigate to your Globalyzer Server
account, allowing you to make modifications to your Rule Sets.
