Filters Dialog

This dialog lets you search the full scope of the current Results based on up to three different criteria. All that will be visible in the Scan Results table are the results matching the currently selected filter. Select <No Filter> to see all the results again.

Note: Filters will NOT show results with a Status currently not set to be visible.

Filter Name -- Pick a name that describes your filter. This will show up in the Filter dropdown in the Scan Results pane, and the dropdown in the dialog for when you want to edit a particular filter. The dropdowns enable you to switch between different filters or to turn them off completely.

Match File Path -- Use this if you want to search results in a certain set of files and/or subdirectories.

Match Issue -- The criteria you enter here will be used in the Issue column of the Scan Results table.

Match Code Line -- This will search the Code Line column of the Scan Results table for matches.

Criteria Dropdowns -- These are the dropdowns next to each text field. You have five options in each, they are:

  • Exact Match
  • Starts With
  • Ends With
  • Contains
  • Sql like Match
These set the criteria for the filter's matches.

Note: Regular Expressions are not allowed with filters.
